Practical Self Protection Returns Policy
Our returns policy is valid for 28 days from receipt of an item.
Before returning any item please follow our returns authorisation procedure.
Returns Procedure
Step One - Authorisation
Please send notice of cancellation by email to accounts@practicalselfprotection.com ensuring that you quote your name, address, order reference number and reason for return. We will email you a returns authorisation number along with details on how and where to send your return. Please note that we reserve the right to refuse any return which does not include a returns authorisation number.
Step Two - Packing the Item
Wrap the item securely and include the original invoice and a copy of the returns authorisation email. Generally the packaging in which the item was sent can be used for its return, however for DVDs please ensure the item is well protected from all possible damage. You assume all risk of loss and damage to products while in transit to us.
Step Three - Replacement or Refund
We will ask you if you would like us to replace the item or refund your card.
Returning an Unwanted Item
You may return any unopened item within 7 days of receipt for a full refund. We will refund your card once we have received and processed the item.
We will only refund delivery costs if the return is a result of our error.
We cannot refund or exchange an opened item unless it is faulty (see Faulty or Damaged Items), or if the item was sent to you through our error.
Please follow our returns procedure as explained above.
Faulty or Damaged Items
You may return any item that was faulty or damaged when received for a full refund. We will refund your card once we have received and processed the item(s).
Please note that an independent test centre will check and test every single return. If a returned item is found not be faulty by this test centre we will return the item to you and you will be liable for the postage. This will not exceed £3.00 per DVD.
We advise you to check any DVD on a second machine before returning it. We will not refund postage costs for items found to be in good working order.
We are not responsible for incompatibilities caused by DVD players that have been modified to disable regional encoding.
Duplicate or Incorrect Item
You may return any duplicate or incorrect item sent to you as a result of our error for a full refund. Your card will be refunded once we have received and processed the item. In these cases we will also refund the return postage costs.
Digital Downloads
Digital downloads cannot be returned. All sales are final and all charges from those sales are non-refundable. If you are experiencing problems with your digital download please email us at accounts@practicalselfprotection.com quoting your name, address and order reference number. Once we receive your email we will contact you and endeavour to resolve any issues you may be facing with the download.
